First, 584 farmers in the Gedeb woreda and surrounding towns in Ethiopia, hand picked coffee cherries, and brought them to the Mijane Worassa wet mill.
There, the cherries were washed, and dried in the shade, to promote slow and controlled drying, which brings out the best flavors.
